I’m Shana, and I work from my couch. I’ve been a full-time freelance writer since 2013; this career chose me, in a way, as life handed me some of the sourest of lemons and I opted to make lemon meringue. Following a divorce, I dabbled in gig work and was eventually noticed by a client who’d enlisted me to write one-sentence summaries of thousands of business websites. Miss Aliza hired me on to interview execs and CEOs, and my passion for crafting web content was born.

My work has been featured on some of the internet’s largest sites (both in the US and across Europe) and my clients have included national and multinational companies. My favorites, though, are the spirited individuals who have hired me to establish their own, unique virtual footprints.

I’m a military brat, and have moved quite a bit in my lifetime but I’m “home for good” in the Triangle area of North Carolina. I share my world with my just-about-too-good-to-be-true partner, five kids, a Cane Corso and a spastic cat called Sir Titus Moby Monkey.
